Terms of use and of sale
This is an English translation, provided for information only. Timalio is sold from France by a French company, under French law, and the French version of these terms is the one that binds the parties. Where the two differ, the French text prevails.
What Timalio does, what you pay, and who answers for what. Creating an account or taking out a subscription means accepting these terms.
1. Who publishes Timalio
Timalio is published by LE MEON, a French société par actions simplifiée with share capital of €300, 22 rue Alexander Fleming, 31240 Saint-Jean, France, SIREN 952 263 093, registered with the Toulouse commercial court (RCS Toulouse), EU VAT number FR96 952 263 093. Contact: contact@timalio.com. The other legal information is in the legal notice.
2. The service
Timalio is an online application for writing, approving, scheduling and publishing posts to social media accounts. It includes a publishing calendar, an approval workflow, team management, an API and an MCP server that let other tools schedule posts. It runs at app.timalio.com, where existing subscribers log in.
The networks available today, and only these, are the following: LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Mastodon. LinkedIn is open for personal profiles, not for company pages. The other networks shown on the website are marked “Coming soon”: they are not available and are not billed.
3. A service for professional use
Timalio is intended for professional users: companies, independent workers, associations and public bodies using it for their activity. It is not intended for consumers, that is, for people who would use it in a private capacity.
By taking out a subscription, you declare that you are doing so for the purposes of your professional activity. You are asked for that declaration at the time of payment. An inaccurate declaration is your responsibility.
4. Account and organization
- You create an account with your email address and a password, or with your Google account. The information you provide must be accurate.
- Every account belongs to an organization. Whoever creates it is its admin. The same person can belong to several organizations (their own and a client's, for instance), with a separate role in each, and switches between them inside the application.
- You keep your credentials confidential. The organization answers for what is done with its members' accounts and with its API keys.
- API keys are created by an admin. Each one acts in that admin's name, with the role chosen for it. You answer for the use made of them by the tools you hand them to, including an artificial intelligence agent. A key can be revoked at any time from the application.
5. Roles and approval workflow
Every member has a role, chosen by an admin:
- Admin: manages the team, the social accounts, the subscription and the settings, and has every right over posts, including approving their own.
- Editor: writes posts and submits them for approval.
- Approver: writes their own posts, approves other people's or requests changes, with a comment.
- Viewer: reads, and changes nothing.
Depending on the organization's settings, a post goes through a workflow: draft, awaiting approval, approved and scheduled, then published on the chosen date. Nobody approves their own post, except an admin. Every step is written to a log visible on the post. A published post can no longer be edited from Timalio.
The approval workflow is an internal organization tool. LE MEON neither reviews nor approves any content, and does not answer for the way an organization assigns roles.
6. Your content and the networks' rules
- You alone are responsible for the content you schedule and publish with Timalio: its accuracy, its lawfulness, and holding the rights needed for the text and trademarks it contains.
- You undertake to comply with the terms of use and the rules of every network you publish to, in particular LinkedIn's, and to connect only accounts you are authorized to use.
- You remain the owner of your content. You only authorize LE MEON to store it and to pass it on to the networks you choose, in order to provide the service.
- LE MEON exercises no prior control. Manifestly unlawful content reported to contact@timalio.com may be removed from the publishing queue.
7. Price
$1.99 excl. tax per connected social account, per month. No minimum: a single account costs $1.99. Users, approvals, the API and the MCP server are unlimited and included, at no extra cost.
Prices exclude tax. VAT or sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout. The rate applied depends on your country and your status. The exact amount is shown before every payment and appears on every invoice.
A promotional code can be entered when subscribing. Its discount and its duration are those announced with the code.
LE MEON may change its prices. A change is announced to the admin's address at least thirty days before it applies, which leaves you time to cancel.
8. Subscription and billing
- You pay before you add. A social account can only be connected if the subscription covers it. The first subscription is taken out in a Stripe payment window and covers the first account. It renews every month, on the same date.
- Adding an account mid-month is billed immediately, prorated over the days remaining until the next renewal, and charged to the card on file. The amount is shown before you confirm. The renewal date does not change. If the payment is declined, nothing is charged and the account is not added.
- A month that has started is owed. Stopping an account disconnects it immediately, with no refund and no credit note. The subscription goes down at the next renewal. Until then, connecting an account in its place costs nothing more.
- Replacing an account is free: connecting one account in place of another does not change the subscription.
- Cancellation: the subscription can be cancelled at any time from the application (“Card and invoices”). Cancellation takes effect at the next renewal, with no refund of the current month. Stopping the last connected account also schedules the end of the subscription at renewal.
- Payment: by bank card, through Stripe. LE MEON neither receives nor stores any card data. Invoices are available from the application.
- Failed payment: until the card is updated, no account can be added. Between professionals, any sum unpaid when due carries late payment interest at three times the French statutory interest rate, plus a fixed €40 recovery fee, as provided by the French commercial code.
9. Availability and third-party networks
LE MEON uses its best efforts to keep Timalio available and to publish at the scheduled time, without guaranteeing continuous availability. The service may be interrupted for maintenance or because of an incident.
Publishing depends on the social networks and their APIs, which LE MEON does not control. A network may at any time change its API, restrict its use, refuse a post, suspend an account, or withdraw Timalio's access. LinkedIn in particular may change or withdraw the access Timalio has. LE MEON therefore cannot guarantee that a post will be published, nor how visible it will be on the network.
A post that fails to publish is flagged as such in the application. Access to a LinkedIn account expires after sixty days and must then be renewed by hand, which the application warns about seven days in advance.
10. Liability
LE MEON is bound by an obligation of means. It does not answer for the content published by users, for the decisions of the social networks, or for indirect damages such as a loss of revenue or of audience. Except in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, its total liability is limited to the sums paid by the organization over the twelve months preceding the triggering event.
11. Suspension and termination
In case of a serious breach of these terms (unlawful content, fraud, abuse of the API), LE MEON may suspend the access of the organization concerned, after informing it except in an emergency. When the subscription or the account ends, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
You leave whenever you want, and you take your data with you. Under “Settings” then “Your data”, an admin downloads everything the organization has entrusted to us, and can delete the organization directly, permanently, after retyping its name. Deletion is refused while a subscription is running: cancel it first, under “Card and invoices”, the month that has started still being owed. Anyone can also delete their own account there.
12. Personal data
The data Timalio processes, the providers who have access to it and your rights are described in the privacy policy.
13. Changes to these terms
Any substantial change to these terms is announced to the admin's address at least thirty days before it applies. The date at the top of this page indicates the version in force.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you disagree with something, write to us first at contact@timalio.com so we can look for an amicable solution. Failing that, a dispute between professionals is brought before the competent courts of Toulouse, France.
